Young Actors Theatre

Young Actors Theatre logo

Young Actors Theatre will invite IPS schools to join them for performances of their Court and Woods programs completely for free. The Court was originated and developed in 2009 by the executive staff of the Young Actors Theatre to meet the need for Indianapolis teenagers to engage in meaningful experiences with relevant social issues. The 2016 campaign will focus on drug abuse and the recent heroin epidemic in Indiana. The Woods, which is an audition-only intensive program, will re-imagine three classics: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Anne of Green Gables and The Secret Garden, all three of which will take place at the Indianapolis Central Library.
